Finca Alemana is a third-generation family farm in Olmedo, Barrio Tambará, Loja, Ecuador, sitting between 1,700 and 2,000 metres above sea level on fertile volcanic soils. Fabian Macas and his father are restoring and modernising approximately 40 hectares, committed not only to producing exceptional coffee but also to social development in the region. They support local farmers who lack infrastructure, helping to reactivate the local economy and preserve historic farms. Their Typica Washed is harvested from late June, then fermented, washed and sun-dried before shipping from Guayaquil. Expect notes of Pecan, Molasses, Plum.
